Northeast Championship Race

The Northeast Championships is usually the last race of the season for the Down East Sled Dog Club. In 2010, it will be the 10th anniversary of being hosted in Jackman. It is a fast paced and diversified event featuring everything from one dog skijoring to large sled teams.

The Enduro Car race, "Moose River Valley 500", is an annual event sponsored by the Border Riders Club. 4 cylinder car race on an oval dirt track. Lots of fun for participants and spectators. An annual event in Jackman and a favorite for so many. Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Beans, Coleslaw, Fresh baked Rolls, Vegetables, Cranberry sauce, and home made desserts are on the menu. This event will be held at the American Legion from 5pm-7pm. All are invited and welcome.
